On October 10 we’re holding a nationwide day of action to save the Endangered Species Act. Sign up now to lead a drop-in visit to your representative.
The Trump administration just released new rules that gut the Endangered Species Act beyond recognition. The Act has become the single most important law for saving thousands of animals and plants from extinction, like grizzly bears, wolves, sea turtles and bald eagles. That’s why we’re calling on Congress to pass legislation to reverse Trump’s attack and restore the Endangered Species Act.
Here’s what the actions will look like:
- Go to your representative’s local office at noon on Thursday, Oct. 10 and recruit others to join you.
- Stage a photo outside the office with printed endangered species masks and signs and share on social media.
- Drop off petition signatures to your representative’s office and tell them to support legislation to restore the Endangered Species Act.
Don’t worry if you’ve never done anything like it before. If you sign up, we’ll send you a how-to guide, materials, and provide personal support so you have everything you need to make your action a success.
